North Dakota DPI responds to federal education staffing reductions

BISMARCK, N.D. (Valley News Live) – The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) have given their response regarding any statewide impact of federal staffing reductions at the U.S. Department of Education (DOE).

Specifically DOE staffing out of the Office of Special Education Programs and the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education.

NDDPI officials are assuring the public that federal staffing cuts will not immediately impact students.

Officials in a statement on Monday, October 13, said in part:

NDDPI says all federal funding for the current year has already been received and distributed to schools.
