FARGO, N.D. – MATBUS is offering a free week of bus fares on all fixed routes from Monday, October 20th through Friday, October 25th.
‘Try MATBUS Week’ will also feature other special promotions and events in hopes the Fargo-Moorhead community can “experience all the benefits that MATBUS has to offer” according to a press release.
But the free fares will not apply to MAT Paratransit.
Warm-Up Wednesday on Oct. 22 will offer a free self-serve hot cider station at the Ground Transportation Center along NP Avenue.
The following day on Oct. 23, free popcorn and bottled water will be handed out the center for Customer Appreciation Day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m..
The mass transit service says passengers take close to 2 million rides per year.
