HANKINSON — A hunter in Richland County was reunited with his hunting party earlier today.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Office said they received a call after a man had gotten lost near the pond he was hunting at. The call sent responders from the sheriff’s office and Hankinson Fire Department to the scene, which was near 92nd Street SE.
The man, who was uninjured, told dispatchers that he had gotten split up from his hunting party, and that he was lost and exhausted from walking. He told authorities that he was in the slew near the pond.
First responders used a side-by-side vehicle to find the man.
