MOORHEAD – The Moorhead Police Department is announcing its results from their National Take Back event last weekend.
The department collected nearly 65 pounds of medication during the event.
This year alone, the department says it has collected nearly 500 pounds of unused medication in its lobby’s safe, which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The event was in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration.
