FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A Fargo man is facing two felony terrorizing charges after police say he threatened a woman and a four-year-old child with a screwdriver during a domestic dispute.

Alvin Tinny Logan, 27, was arrested following the incident at a Fargo apartment complex. He is charged with two counts of terrorizing involving adult and child victims, both classified as domestic violence felonies.

The incident began around 11:29 p.m. on November 2, when Logan became upset after someone commented on the woman’s appearance during a TikTok Livestream, according to court documents. Logan had reportedly been drinking and accused her of cheating.

Logan allegedly grabbed the victim’s car keys and ran outside, where he attempted to puncture her car tires. He then obtained a screwdriver from the garage and made threats against her, according to court documents.

Police say that Logan advanced toward the woman and child while holding the screwdriver in a threatening manner.

The woman contacted police through 911 text messages, writing “hey can I get police” and “my father child tried to stab me.” She told dispatchers “it’s not safe” when asked if she could call.

Multiple law enforcement agencies responded and Logan allegedly fled on foot when officers arrived. This prompted two separate foot pursuits.

Authorities used drone assistance to track the woman’s phone, which Logan had allegedly taken, to locate him.

Officers eventually found Logan hiding under a pickup truck in the apartment complex parking lot. He was arrested and transported to Cass County Jail.

The woman recorded part of the alleged incident on Facebook Live, which was preserved as evidence. The video allegedly shows Logan attempting to damage the car tires and advancing toward the victim with the screwdriver.

Both the victim and witness told police they feared for their lives during the incident. Court documents say the woman thought Logan was going to kill her.

Logan is set to be arraigned in Cass County court Monday afternoon.
