MOORHEAD — Fire damaged a house in Moorhead Tuesday afternoon. No one was home at the time and there were no injuries, but firefighters rescued a dog from the house. The fire, in the 400 block of 12th St. N. was reported just before 3:00 p.m. A passerby noticed the fire and called 9-1-1.
Firefighters arrived to find the back of the house on fire with extension to the eaves. They managed to put the fire out quickly.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
