FARGO – Members of the Red River Valley SWAT team will be participating in training surrounding two areas of Fargo on Thursday.
According to The City of Fargo, the SWAT team will be in the 50 block of 4th Street North from noon until 4 p.m. They’ll then move to the 1000 block of 28th Street South from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m.
SWAT team members may be carrying firearms and moving around the exterior of buildings, but no live rounds will be used during the training exercise, which is closed to the public. The public should be prepared to hear loud noises and yelling in the area of the training as well as seeing several SWAT vehicles with activated emergency lights.
