FARGO, N.D. – A man faces several charges after a stabbing near the North Dakota State University campus.
Fargo Police officers were sent to an apartment building on the 1600 block of Dakota Drive North around 6:15 AM Monday, November 17.
Authorities say they found a man with stab wounds outside. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and declined medical treatment at the scene.
Police say a man barricaded himself in an apartment and the Red River Valley SWAT Team was called.
Around 9:00 AM, SWAT used a “chemical irritant” into the apartment where 55-year-old Michael Conover of Fargo surrendered. He was arrested on suspicion of aggravated domestic assault and preventing arrest.
