GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Grab your Hawaiian shirt and make a batch of Twinkie wiener sandwiches!
“Weird Al” Yankovic is coming to Alerus Center in Grand Forks on August 29th for the second leg of his Bigger and Weirder tour next year. He’s bringing the comedic clown Puddles Pity Party as his opener.
Presale tickets go on sale at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 18.
Al is also doing a show at the Minnesota State Fair on August 28th and the Canada Life Center in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on August 30th. If you want to really have a weird summer weekend, go to all three shows!
The only other time “Weird Al” performed in Grand Forks was at the Chester Fritz Auditorium during his Poodle Hat Tour on April 12, 2004. That was three days after his parents, Nick and Mary, died from accidental carbon monoxide poisoning from their home’s fireplace.
