WEST FARGO, N.D. – The City of West Fargo halts building a pedestrian bridge over the Sheyenne River.
On Monday, four people living in the Rivers Bend neighborhood raised concerns over safety and environmental issues.
The City Commission passed a motion to deny the engineer’s report and stop work on the project without additional discussion.
The vote effectively stops any additional work on the proposed pathway.
The plan would have built a walkway from Sheyenne Street to 23rd Avenue.
