RAPID CITY, SD – South Dakota Governor Larry Rhoden is running for a full term as Governor.
“My mission as governor is to keep South Dakota strong, safe, and free. We have the blessings of living in the freest state in the nation, and we should hand that freedom down to our kids and our grandkids,” he said at his campaign launch announcement Tuesday in Rapid City. “So when I’m done being governor, whenever that is, I hope the people look back on my time as governor and say, he left South Dakota as a place that was built to last. But I’m not done yet.”
Rhoden said he’s maintaining his focus on ‘doing the people’s work’ and keeping South Dakota ‘strong, safe and free.’
“I’m going to keep doing the people’s work, because when I’m working, South Dakota is winning,” he said.
