Wild shutout Jets in Winnipeg

The Minnesota Wild shutout the Winnipeg Jets 3-0 on Sunday. This was the 12th straight game the Wild scored the first goal of the game.

Jesper Wallstedt saved all 32 shots he faced in net. Wallstedt improved to 5-0-2 on the season with his second shutout.

Danila Yurov scored his third goal of the season. Brock Faber found the back of the net for his fifth goal of the season. Faber’s goal was shorthanded. Kirill Kaprizov scored his 13th goal of the season. Marcus Johansson, Yakov Trenin, Mats Zuccarello, and Jacob Middleton added an assist in the win.

The Wild now have a record of 12-7-4 on the season. Minnesota will now visit the Blackhawks in Chicago on Wednesday night with puck drop scheduled for 6 p.m. and game coverage available on Hulu.
