REGION – The field has been set for the FCS playoffs.
And both North Dakota schools are in the field.
NDSU received the number one overall ranking and will have a bye in the first round of the FCS playoffs. They’ll take on the winner between Illinois State and Southeastern Louisiana on December 6 at noon at Gate City Bank Field inside the FargoDome.
UND, despite losing Saturday to South Dakota State, also made the playoffs.
The Fighting Hawks will travel to number 13 ranked Tennessee Tech next Saturday. If the Fighting Hawks win, they’ll take on fourth-ranked Tarleton State in the second round..
