FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – An eighth grader from Fargo died unexpectedly last week after what is being described as a sudden health event.
According to a GoFundMe fundraiser set up for the family, Jemimah Audu collapsed during a basketball game at Discovery Middle School on November 21. She was taken to Sanford Medical Center, where she passed away.
Audu reportedly had no prior health conditions, and an autopsy is pending at the University of North Dakota.
The fundraiser also thanked the emergency room staff who tried to revive her. Her funeral is set for December 1 at Northview Church.
