Polasek named Missouri Valley Coach of the Year

FARGO, ND – Second-year NDSU head football coach Tim Polasek has received recognition from the Missouri Valley Football Conference.

The Bison head coach was named Coach of the Year, the university announced Monday.

Polasek has led the Bison to a 12-0 record and a second straight conference championship. He’s the sixth Coach of the Year winner from NDSU, joining former head coaches Craig Bohl, Chris Klieman and Matt Entz as honorees.

NDSU will host Illinois State on Saturday in the second round of the FCS playoffs. Kickoff is at 12 p.m. at Gate City Bank Field inside the FargoDome.
