MINNESOTA – The Minnesota Department of Transportation tells Flag Family News one lane of eastbound Interstate 94 from Rothsay to Fergus Falls is still closed because a contractor is finishing installing safety features.
Orange barrier sticks can be seen popping out of the snow in the closed lane from just west of County Road 11 to U.S. Highway 59. The $22 million project includes resurfacing the interstate and constructing pier struts and paving a slope at the 330th Street Bridge which is three-and-a-half miles east of Rothsay.
MNDOT officials say the work is expected to be completed on Monday, December 1 and the lane closure is scheduled to be removed the next day.
