Fargo police respond to more than 7,600 calls in November

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – The Fargo Police Department said they responded to 7,682 calls for service in November, averaging 256 calls per day, according to a post to Facebook.

The monthly total brings the department’s yearly call volume to 92,424 as December begins, according to department data.

The department also said officers respond to calls around the clock, handling an average of 10 to 11 calls every hour.

The calls range from welfare checks and medical emergencies to crisis intervention and proactive patrol work.

The department said officers respond to community needs with what it calls a “guardianship-minded approach” focused on professionalism and compassion.
