Fargo Police investigate after finding wiring stripped, melted at vacant business

FARGO, ND – Fargo Police are investigating after they found wiring stripped and melted, causing a haze at a nearby business.

Officers and the Fargo Fire Department were called to the 3500 block of 13th Avenue South at 9 a.m. for a report of a haze resembling smoke inside a business. Upon arrival, officers discovered a long-term vacant property, which was adjoined to the business that had called authorities, had been extensively damaged.

Initial damage estimates total approximately $50,000. The investigation is ongoing and no suspects have been identified.
