TSA to allow passengers to pay fee to fly without REAL ID

WASHINGTON, DC – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is announcing they’ll provide an option to pay a fee to passengers who do not present an acceptable form of ID but still want to fly.

The fee, which begins February 1, will be $45 and will allow the passenger to use TSA Confirm.ID for a 10-day travel period.

The TSA Confirm.ID website is a modernized alternative identity verification system.
