Wild defeat Oilers on Wallstedt’s fourth shutout of the season

The Minnesota Wild shutout the Edmonton Oilers 1-0 on Tuesday night.

Jesper Wallstedt saved all 33 shots he faced in net. He was also named the NHL’s Rookie of the Month for November on Tuesday. This was Wallstedt’s fourth shutout in his last seven starts in net for Minnesota.

Jonas Brodin scored the game’s only goal, his third of the season. Nico Sturm recorded an assist on the goal.

The Wild improved to a record of 15-7-5 on the season. Minnesota will continue the road trip on Thursday night in Calgary against the Flames with puck drop scheduled for 8 p.m. and game coverage available on FanDuel Sports Network North Extra.
