FARGO, N.D. – Fargo-based Aldevron is laying off workers.
A statement from Aldevron says they’re reducing their workforce by seven percent as part of adjustments to align with its strategic priorities, and in part to strengthen its ability to serve the evolving needs of the biotech industry.
A majority of the impact will be felt at its Fargo headquarters.
“This decision was extremely difficult, but it reflects our commitment to positioning Aldevron for sustainable growth and innovation in a rapidly changing market,” the statement read. “We remain focused on supporting affected employees during this transition and continuing to deliver exceptional quality and service to our clients and the patients who depend on them.”
