FARGO, N.D. – A Fargo man was arrested in the early morning hours Saturday after a standoff in north Fargo.
According to Fargo Police Sergeant Alex Nelson, police were called to the area of the 2700 block of 10th Avenue North for a reported domestic.
The investigation revealed probable cause was established to arrest 28-year-old Ethan Erickson. Police say, however, he refused to exit the residence. Based on information police had gathered through the investigation, and Erickson’s criminal history, the Red River Valley SWAT team was activated and responded to the scene to assist Fargo Police officers in the apprehension.
Erickson was eventually arrested without incident and taken to the Cass County Jail, where’s being held on felony terrorizing with a dangerous weapon, domestic violence and terrorizing, which are all Class C felonies.
The victim, who is not being identified by authorities, suffered apparent minor injuries, but declined further medical treatment.
