BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Dakota State Capitol building is celebrating the 90th year of its Christmas Tree display.
The design in the windows of the building first appeared in 1935. The building was completed in 1934 after the original Capitol was destroyed in a fire in 1930. The building often receives requests to coordinate the windows for various reasons throughout the year.
The windows have been set up for Fourth of July displays and when the North Dakota State Bison won their National Championship.
