WOLVERTON, MINN. – A man is dead after reports of shots fired in Wilkin County.
Deputies were called early Thursday morning to the 17-hundred block of Minnesota Highway 75 near Wolverton. The caller to 9-1-1 stated a person had been shot.
Law enforcement found a man with an apparent gunshot wound at the scene. He was pronounced dead.
Authorities arrested a suspect and took him to jail, where he’s being held pending formal charges.
The Minnesota B-C-A is assisting with the investigation.
