WEST FARGO, N.D. — The West Fargo Fire Department has won this year’s Battle of the Badges Blood Drive.
It was held earlier this week and featured a battle for the most blood donations.
Team Fire won the seventh annual battle with a total of 65 units of blood donated over the three-day drive. Team Law, which represented the West Fargo Police Department, had 62 units of blood donated.
The two departments teamed up with Vitalant, who is the sole provider of blood products to 68 hospitals in the region.
