REGION – As the region is going through its second blizzard this week, several roads are closed in Minnesota and a No Travel Advisory is in effect for parts of North Dakota.
Minnesota road closures
In Minnesota, the following roads are closed:
- Minnesota 200, between U.S. 75 and Ada
- S. 75, between Perley and U.S. 2, north of Crookston
- Minnesota 9, between north of Felton and north of Beltrami
- S. 2, between the North Dakota/Minnesota state line and Crookston
- Minnesota 220, between East Grand Forks and Alvarado, and between Minnesota 1 and Minnesota 11
- Minnesota 1, between the North Dakota/Minnesota state line and east of Warren
- Minnesota 11, between the North Dakota/Minnesota state and U.S. 59
- Minnesota 175, between the North Dakota/Minnesota state line and U.S. 75
North Dakota travel conditions
In North Dakota:
- The entire northeast portion of the state is under a No Travel Advisory.
- I-29 has been closed, in both directions, from Grand Forks to the Canadian border
- Most of the rest of the state is in a Travel Alert.
