COLD-WIND-SNOW-BLOWING SNOW-DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS…..am I missing anything?? We have a plethora of advisories for cold and snow. Here’s a quick look:

Expect conditions today to deteriorate as winds will pick up out of the NW gusting over 30mph producing blowing snow and slick travel and reduced visibilities at times from afternoon through evening commute. Slick travel is expected this evening as blowing snow will ice up the roadways. Following todays snow/blowing snow (1/2″ to 1″) bitterly cold wind chills will settle in through the weekend. Here’s a look at wind chills Thursday through Saturday:



BITTERLY cold wind chills between 35 and 55 below zero through the weekend. Frostbite will occur within minutes on exposed skin. Hypothermia may also occur and here are some signs of hypothermia:

Bundle up if you have to be outdoors and make sure to have a winter weather survival kit packed in your vehicle.
