Klobuchar files to run for governor, Walz comments on rumor he’ll be appointed to the Senate

MINNESOTA – Documents obtained by Flag Family News show Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar has registered a campaign committee to run for governor.

There have been rumors for months that if Klobuchar wins the election, she’d appoint Governor Tim Walz to her Senate seat.

On Twin Cities Public Television’s “Almanac” at the State Fair in August, Walz laughed when asked about the plan saying that’s the first he heard of it adding it wasn’t in the works.

On “What’s On Your Mind?” on The Flag, Demuth called out Klobuchar’s support of Walz.

“While he served his $18 billion surplus, while he raised our taxes and fees here, while he let fraud run wild, both state dollars and federal dollars, our cities burned back in 2020, Amy Klobuchar and every other Democrat here in the state of Minnesota didn’t say anything,” Demuth said.
