WEST FARGO, N.D. – Sandy’s Donuts is set to ask the West Fargo City Commission for a tax incentive request at its meeting Monday.
According to documentation by Director of Economic Development Casey Sanders-Berglund, Sandy’s is expanding and acquiring property at 1914 4th Avenue NW, the building formerly used by Air Mechanical, which is closing its doors.
The property is 11,300 square feet, but Sandy’s Donuts’ plan is to expand the property by 3,000 square feet with its aim to ‘automate and gain in efficiency that support all other Sandy’s locations and vendors.’
Berglund’s recommendation is to approve a five-year Payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILOT) for just over $10,000.
