WASHINGTON – North Dakota Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak responds to criticism from Alex Balazs who’s running against her in the Republican primary.

On The Flag, he said he was concerned she missed 10 votes since she was sworn in on January 3, 2025.

“The majority of those votes were because of my daughter’s wedding last summer. It’s my only daughter’s wedding and the wedding was in our backyard,” Fedorchak said on “The Steve Hallstrom Show” on The Flag. “I worked with leadership. They knew about it. Nothing was jeopardized and we were back in session the next week and passed the One Big Beautiful Bill.”

Fedorchak added the wedding was scheduled before she ran for Congress.
