Kaprizov ties franchise goal scoring record in Minnesota’s loss to St. Louis

The Minnesota Wild fell to the St. Louis Blues 3-1 on Sunday night. Minnesota scored the game’s first goal, before surrendering the final three goals of the game.

Kirill Kaprizov scored the Wild’s goal, his 34th of the season. Additionally, it was his 219th career goal, tying him with Marian Gaborik for the most goals scored in franchise history. Matt Boldy and Quinn Hughes had assists on the goal.

Filip Gustavsson saved 21 of the 23 shots he faced in net.

Minnesota fell to a record of 35-16-10 on the season. The Wild will now host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday with the puck drop scheduled for 8:30 p.m. Game coverage will be available on TNT.
