Comedian Bert Kreischer’s tour bus catches fire on Minnesota interstate

WILKIN COUNTY, Minn. (Valley News Live) – Comedian Bert Kreischer’s tour bus caught fire Sunday, March 15 on eastbound Interstate 94 near the Pelican Rapids exit according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

A state trooper and a local fire department were dispatched at 12:21 p.m. to a report of a coach bus on fire in the area.

The driver was the only person on the bus at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were involved. The cause of the fire is unknown.

Kreischer posted to Instagram following the incident. “We are all safe but my bus is gone,” he said. “God works in mysterious ways.”

The comedian completed a tour stop in Fargo the night before.

Kreischer has had other bus troubles in our area. In November 2022, the comedian’s bus got stuck in the snow in Bismarck after the winter weather cancelled his show. He asked fans to help dig the bus out and ended up drinking beers with them.
