REGION – A pair of lawyers have been retained by a Tennessee woman who was jailed after artificial intelligence identified her as a person involved with a Fargo bank fraud investigation.
Saint Paul-based attorney Eric Rice confirmed to Flag Family News that he and Moorhead attorney, Dane DeKrey, have been retained by Angela Lipps.
Rice told Flag Family News on Tuesday afternoon that the pair have been retained to investigate and pursue civil rights legal claims. As of Tuesday afternoon, the attorneys are continuing to investigate the claims.
Rice said no lawsuit has been filed.
