On Wednesday, March 25 North Dakota State University director of athletics, Matt Larsen, confirmed NDSU’s 2027 Labor Day football game against Montana State at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. This is a re-confirmation of the game between the Bison and Bobcats with NDSU now heading to the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS).
The game is apart of the 2027 Vegas Kickoff Classic and will be operated by ESPN Events. The game’s official date, time, and broadcast network are still to be determined at a later date. The 2027 event will also include the “Battle of the U” between the Miami Hurricanes and Utah Utes. The Miami-Utah game is scheduled for Saturday, September 4, 2027.
