FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) — Local nonprofit auto shop, Fix It Forward, hit a major milestone this week, donating its 700th vehicle to the Red River Children’s Advocacy Center.
The center provides forensic interviews and advocacy services for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Staff said having the vehicle will help them reach more families in rural communities.
“This means so much to so many,” said Raelyn Soltis, director of operations at the center. “It means a lot to our center and our staff who will be able to travel distances now to provide services to rural communities who may not otherwise be able to access the services that we offer.”
Fix It Forward Ministry has been providing free auto repairs and donated vehicles to people in need around the Fargo-Moorhead area since 2015.
