Vikings to exercise fifth-year option on WR Addison

During the NFL’s Annual League Meeting, Minnesota Vikings Executive Vice President of Football Operations, Rob Brzezinski, announced the team’s intention to exercise the fifth-year option on wide receiver, Jordan Addison.

In a team released Brzezinski said, “He’s a really important player to us, an impact player”. He continued by saying, “We’re definitely exercising the option.”

The 24-year-old receiver has played in 46 games over his three NFL seasons. Addison has totaled 175 receptions for 2,396 yards and 22 touchdowns. Additionally, he has carried the ball six times for 103 yards and two touchdowns.

The deadline to pick up his fifth-year option is in May of 2026 for the 2027 season. Addison was the 23rd overall pick in the NFL Draft and owns a 93.2 career receiver rating.
