Wolves wrap up regular season with win over Pelicans

Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 132-126 to conclude the regular season on Sunday night.

Terrance Shannon Jr. led the Pack with 26 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Joan Beringer added 24 points, 12 rebounds, and seven blocks. Joe Ingles added 15 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds. A trio added double figures off the bench with Zyon Pullin scoring 19 points followed by 16 points from Julian Phillips, and 13 points from Enrique Freeman.

Minnesota finished the regular season with a record of 49-33, earning the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference Playoffs. The Wolves will play the No. 3 seeded Denver Nuggets in the best-of-seven Western Conference Quarterfinals.

Game 1 will be in Denver on Saturday with the tip-off at 2:30 p.m. with full game coverage available on Prime Video.
