(Christine, ND) — Two people were hospitalized after a vehicle crash near Christine on Friday.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol responded to the crash at approximately 7 p.m. on May 10th. Authorities say April Goines (53f, Florissant, MO) was traveling northbound on I-29 when it temporarily left the roadway and entered the median. Goines then corrected, and re-entered the roadway. Two passengers were ejected in the process, Colette Johnson (58f, St. Louis, MO) and Leshaunda Wilson (53, Florissant, MO). Wilson was taken to a nearby hospital by Sanford AirMed due to serious injuries sustained during the ejection.
Charges are currently under investigation against Goines, but have not officially been filed as of this publication. No charges are being considered against the three other vehicle occupants, Natlyn Jones (58f, Liberty, MO), Johnson, or Wilson.
