Twins get crushed by Nationals; losing streak now at seven games

(Washington, DC) — The Minnesota Twins are on a seven-game losing streak following a 12-3 loss to the Washington Nationals at Nationals Park.

The Twins were within two before giving up four runs in the fifth and three runs in the sixth. Carlos Correa went deep in the losing effort, and Pablo Lopez was charged with his fourth loss after surrendering seven runs on eight hits in five innings. Minnesota is in third place in the AL Central at 24-23.

Joe Ryan starts for Minnesota against the Nats on Tuesday night at 5:45 p.m.
