BEULAH, ND — Two people were killed in a crash on Highway 49 near Beulah, North Dakota.
Troopers say it happened yesterday afternoon when an SUV didn’t see traffic stopped ahead because of a vehicle fire. The SUV crashed into the back of a stopped semi-truck, killing both men inside.
The highway had to be shut down for a time while authorities investigated.
