(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota’s eight commercial airports are showing passenger growth for another month.
A new monthly record for boardings was set in May. The North Dakota Aeronautics Commission says more than 103-thousand passengers departed from the state’s biggest airports last month. The prior May record was just over 100-thousand passengers in 2014.
Bismarck and Williston enjoyed the biggest boosts over May 2023 with a 26-percent passenger increase in Bismarck and a 35-percent increase in Williston. Minot had an eleven-percent increase in May 2024 compared to May 2023.
