(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves are finally activating one of their 2023 NBA Draft picks.
Guard Jaylen Clark was cleared to play on Sunday after missing his rookie season due to a ruptured left Achilles tendon. Minnesota took Clark with the 53rd overall pick last year. He averaged 13 points and six rebounds per game during his final season at UCLA in 2022-23.
The Wolves said that Clark will play in the NBA Summer League. Minnesota’s first game will be on Friday, July 12 against New Orleans in Las Vegas.
