Minnesota Twins returning to Midco Customers after brief coverage pause

WDAY RADIO — Coverage of The Minnesota Twins is returning to Midco customers after a brief contract.

The team made the announcement of the new agreement Monday through Diamond Sports Group, saying a deal was reached between them and the Comcast/Xfinity and Midco customers. Under the deal, Bally Sports North; the current provider of Twins baseball, will be broadcasted through Xfinity at the Ultimate level. Those who are not subscribed will be able to utilize a three-month free promotion through Comcast, and will be given instructions on how to do so through Xfinity or the company’s website.

Twins coverage was previously stripped from Midco or Comcast/Xfinity customers after a previous agreement between the companies expired on May 1st.

“We are pleased that fans will again be able to access broadcasts of their local teams through Xfinity,” said Diamond Sports CEO David Preschlack in a statement.
