Independent Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy likely not to be charged after leaving dead bear in Central Park

NEW YORK, NY — It does not appear Independent Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will face charges for leaving a dead bear in Central Park a decade ago.

Officials say the statute of limitations has expired. Kennedy announced Sunday that back in 2014, he saw the young bear get hit by a car in the Hudson Valley so he took it with the intention of skinning and eating it. However, he says he didn’t get the chance, so he decided to leave it in Central Park and make it look as though the cub had been hit by a bicycle.
