Six Twins drive in a least one run in victory over A’s

The Minnesota Twins took down the A’s 10-3 on Tuesday night. Minnesota scored four runs in both the sixth and seventh innings.

Pablo Lopez gave up two runs over five innings, earning his fifth win of the season. Cole Sands gave up one run in an inning out of the pen while Justin Topa tossed a scoreless inning. Jorge Alcala threw two shutout innings with four strikeouts to finish off the game.

Byron Buxton, Willi Castro, and Royce Lewis each drove in two runs. Trevor Larnach, Carlos Correa, and Brooks Lee picked up an RBI apiece. Castro hit two homers while Larnach added a home run in the win.

The Twins and A’s will continue their series on Wednesday evening with first pitch scheduled for 9:05 p.m. Zebby Matthews will be on the bump for Minnesota while Jeffrey Springs counters for the A’s.
