10-year-old boy hit by a SUV while riding his bike in Crookston

CROOKSTON, Minn. (Valley News Live) – Crookston police responded to a vehicle/pedestrian accident on October 2nd, at approximately 3:35pm.

A 10-year-old boy was riding his bike across the crosswalk at the intersection of East Robert St. and Bridge St. in Crookston when he was struck by an SUV.

The driver of the SUV has been identified as 20-year-old, Kyrie Schehr.

The boy was transported to RiverView ER and the extent of his injuries are unknown.

This is an active investigation and no further information has been provided.
