North Dakota Bill Would Reimburse Teachers For Out-Of-Pocket Expenses

(Bismarck, ND) -- A North Dakota bill could change how teachers pay for classroom items.

Some educators pay for classroom supplies out of pocket, but House Bill 1210 would examine how much it would cost North Dakota to pay educators back for some of those items.

If passed, the state would research if this is feasible. Representative Matt Ruby says it's possible the reimbursement could come as a  tax credit or a dollar-for-dollar match.

It will now go for a vote in the House.
