(West Fargo, ND) - A West Fargo Public Schools teacher has resigned after police served a warrant against him. Ron Thompson taught at Sheyenne and West Fargo High Schools. Police met with Thompson on Tuesday February 2 and submitted his resignation shortly thereafter. The school board in West Fargo will meet this Monday to take action on Thompson's release from his contract. The school system says since this is a personnel matter and an open investigation, there will be no further comment from the district right now
