North Dakota Receives One Million Dollars In Opioid Crisis Settlement

(Bismarck, ND)  --  North Dakota is getting a one-million-dollar share of a settlement lawsuit brought against opioid drug makers by a group of state attorneys general.  The consulting firm of McKinsey and Company settled the suit for 573-million after a year of investigations.  The company was accused of promoting and profiting off drug makers like OxyContin maker Purdue Pharma as a deadly opioid crisis raged.  North Dakota was one of 47 states involved in the lawsuit.
