It's likely 3 decades in prison or thereabouts for a 44-year-old Fargo man convicted of beating his so-called drinking buddy to death with a plant stand. Prosecutors say this happened more than a year ago inside one Fargo apartment. Darrell Clinton Peterson learned his fate yesterday inside a Cass County Courtroom, with the judge in the case serving up 28-years behind bars for the killing of 64-year-old Duane Darling.
